VENDOR FAQ
What does the transaction fee actually cover?
Marketplace operations: hosting, the marketplace + ecommerce backbone, human support, community moderation, fraud handling, and building the feed that sends customers to you. The 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee is separate — that's the credit card processor, not ours.
Can you really keep fees this low?
Yes, because we keep the company lean and we aren't raising for a $10B exit. The marketplace is one leg of a platform that also runs a social network and a community membership tier. We only need the fee to cover costs, not to pad investor returns.
What about shipping?
Shipping is handled through table-rate zones you control. You set rates per region and weight. In future phases we'll have integrations available for auto-labels. You always print and ship yourself.
Can I bring my existing shop over?
Yes. We'll migrate your listings from Etsy, Shopify, Woo or Big Cartel for free during beta. Usually takes 48-72 hours. You'll review everything before it goes live.
What happens if I break a rule?
A human reviews every moderation action. You'll get a written reason, a 48-hour appeal window, and the chance to fix it. Listings aren't deleted silently. Accounts aren't disabled without warning. Ever.
What about booking, print-on-demand, digital downloads?
Digital downloads are live today. Service bookings (tattoo slots, studio time, hair appointments) and print-on-demand (tees, stickers, zines, merch) launch with the Pro tier in Q1 2027. Founding vendors get early access to both.
